Lawn care price book software that keeps every price in one place
Lawn care price book software that starts with 50+ landscaping services already priced. Set your rates once, then pick them on any estimate, invoice, or job.
- Starts with 50+ landscaping services already priced
- Pick a service instead of typing the line item
- Change a rate — past invoices keep their numbers
- Your crew picks prices; only you change them
Mulch was one number in April and a different number in May, and you can't remember which was right. Your prices live in three places — your head, a spreadsheet on the office laptop, and a notebook in the truck — and the three don't agree. So every estimate starts by rebuilding pricing from memory at nine at night. Okason is lawn care price book software built to end that. The **Price List** is where your pricing actually lives: every service you sell, with a price, a unit, and a description, ready to pick instead of retype.
You don’t have to finish the list before you get value out of it. Fix the ten prices you quote most often, run one real estimate through them, then fill in the rest as jobs come up.
Lawn care price book software that starts with mowing and mulch, not HVAC
Most price book tools were written for plumbers and HVAC shops. You sign up and get an empty screen and a stack of trade templates, none of them green industry.
Okason seeds every new account with 50+ landscaping services across eight categories: Mowing, Trimming, Cleanup, Installation, Fertilization, Aeration, Snow, and Other. Each one arrives with a description, an estimated duration, a default price, and a price range.
Treat those numbers as starting placeholders, not your market. Edit them to what you actually charge.
Already have your prices in a spreadsheet? Straight answer: there’s no spreadsheet import yet. What you get instead is a starter list that already covers most of what a maintenance crew sells, and adding the ones it misses takes seconds from inside the document you’re working on.
Nothing is locked. Every seeded service can be edited, deactivated, or deleted, and the services you write sit right beside them.
Lawn care price list software that finds one service out of 68
A real catalog gets long fast. Type “mulch,” get your four mulch services.
Search flips the grouped list into flat results with your term bolded in each match. Category, Status, and Unit filters stack on top of it and clear in one tap, and services otherwise sit under category headers you can collapse to shut out the work you’re not doing today.
The units are the ones your trade actually bills in: per service, per hour, per sq ft, per yard, per unit. Mulch by the cubic yard, sod by the square foot, extra labor by the hour.
Build the invoice by picking services, not typing them
On any estimate, invoice, or job, tap add and pick the service — the line fills itself in with the name, your saved description, a quantity of one, and your price. Change the quantity and the line total and subtotal move as you type. Need something off-list, type it in freehand.
A search field and your last few services sit at the top of the picker, so the ones you sell every day are one tap away.
This is also how the extras stop falling off the invoice. Haul-away, dump fee, trip charge, extra labor hour — save them once and they’re a tap instead of a line you have to remember to type.
Change a price on the line and it changes on that document only. The saved service stays as you set it.
A price book app for landscapers you can use in the driveway
A price book is no use if it lives on a settings tab on the laptop back at the shop. The full Price List is on the phone, and you can add a service without leaving the invoice you’re building: type a name and a price, save, and it lands on the document and in your catalog at the same time. Only the name and the price are ever required — everything else can wait.
Tap any service to see its details and how often you’ve used it — “Used in 23 invoices, 8 estimates” — and edit or deactivate it from there.
Raise your rates for the season without rewriting history
Spring repricing is the moment most catalogs betray you. You change a number and quietly wonder what it just did to the invoices you already sent.
In Okason, editing a saved service is not retroactive. Update the price and every estimate, invoice, and job from then on uses the new number. Documents already written keep their original values, so your history stays accurate and your books still reconcile.
A price book needs a floor and a ceiling. Min Price and Max Price sit under the default as a guidance range — the number you agreed not to go below, and the one you rarely clear. They’re advisory. Nothing stops you pricing outside them when a property calls for it. If you’re still deciding how to bill at all, read flat rate vs hourly landscaping billing.
Adding a tier of a service you already sell is one duplicate: every field copies over, so you rename it and change the price while keeping the description, duration, and tax status you already wrote.
Decide who can change a price
Price drift usually isn’t dishonesty. It’s a crew member on a phone guessing at a number because there wasn’t one to pick.
Crew members see your active services read-only and keep the picker in full, so they build documents from your prices. Your crew can’t change a price, period.
Managers can add, edit, duplicate, deactivate, and rename categories. Deleting a service or a category is owner-only. See crew management for how the roles work.
Retire a service without breaking your books
Snow removal doesn’t belong in your picker in July, and the aeration package you dropped two years ago shouldn’t still be cluttering the list.
Deactivate a service and it disappears from the picker without touching a single existing document. Turn it back on when the season comes round.
Delete works on services you’ve never used. Try to delete one that’s been used and Okason stops you, shows the counts across invoices, estimates, and jobs, and offers to archive it instead — inactive, history intact.
Categories work the same way. Rename one and every service in it follows; delete one and its services move to Other.
How Okason compares to other landscaping service catalog software
Most tools treat the catalog as setup, not as the thing that decides whether you quote at the right number.

Scroll the table sideways to see every column.
Try it on your own numbers — the trial is free, and the plans are on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions
A price book — Okason calls it the **Price List** — is your saved list of the services you sell, each with a default price, unit, description, and duration. Instead of typing a line item on every estimate and invoice, you pick the service and the details fill in.
